This policy describes how Tune by RadioKit (hereafter "Tune") collects, uses and stores your data when you use the tune.radiokit.io website and mobile app.

1. Data collected

Anonymous Tune ID: unique identifier generated on first launch, used to sync listens, favorites and Club ranking. Not linked to personal identity.
Nickname (optional): if chosen, shown publicly in Tune Party.
Listening minutes and favorite stations: recorded for ranking and Premium progressive unlock.
Tune Party messages: kept 24 hours for realtime chat, then auto-deleted.
IP address: temporarily recorded for anti-spam and technical diagnostics, anonymized after 30 days.
Push data (OneSignal): notification token to send opt-in communications. We do not share real identity with the provider.

2. Data NOT collected

Email (unless you voluntarily provide it via the "Add radio" form)
Phone number, banking data, ID documents
Precise GPS location
Contacts, photos, microphone, camera

3. Processing purposes

Service operation (radio listening, favorites, alarms, Party chat)
Progressive Premium feature unlock based on listened minutes
Anonymous aggregate usage statistics
Push notifications (only if authorized)

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on legitimate interest to provide the requested service and, where applicable, on explicit consent (e.g. push notifications).

5. Retention

Tune ID and favorites: until deletion request
Tune Party chat messages: 24 hours
Anti-spam IP logs: 30 days
Submitter email (add radio form): until revoked

6. Third-party sharing

Tune uses the following third-party services:

OneSignal (push notifications) — privacy policy
Google Firebase (cloud messaging) — privacy policy
iTunes Search API (album covers and Apple Music links) — no identifying data
Radio streaming providers: playback comes directly from the radio server, Tune does not host streams

We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access your data
Request correction or deletion
Restrict processing
Export data in readable format
Withdraw consent
Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority

To exercise your rights write to info@radiokit.io with your Tune ID (visible in app settings).

8. Minors

Tune is not intended for users under 13 and does not knowingly collect minors' data. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for removal.

9. Changes

Any changes will be published on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
